Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting my website. I am announcing my candidacy for re-election to the Pitt County School Board for the newly combined districts 6 and 3. I ask for your support and vote on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. This combined district will exist for only two years, as the county transitions into nine new districts created by the General Assembly. Expiring in 2016, the new combined district will serve areas in Ayden, Grifton, Chicod, Black Jack, Eastern Pines, Grimesland, Brook Valley, Eastern Greenville, and parts of Winterville.

During the last six years, while serving on the Pitt County School Board, I have always listened to the concerns of parents and community leaders before I make decisions concerning our schools. I have always attempted to be YOUR VOICE on the Pitt County Board of Education…to address the goals of an area and a people I both respect and love.

Please feel free to look over this site, study my background, and investigate my platform and accomplishments. After you have done so, it is my hope that you will choose to support and vote for me again as YOUR VOICE on the Pitt County School Board.

Please remember that you can take advantage of early voting which begins on Thursday, October 23 through Saturday, November 1, 2014.
